Snap Dragon Designs

Based out of Sultan, Washington, Snap Dragon makes the best sprayskirts on the market. We recommend that all our students buy Snap Dragon skirts because they are durable enough to survive our extensive traveling and foreign expeditions. These skirts are also super dry and easy to put on.

Snap Dragon contributes two new sprayskirts to the Alzar School leaders each year, which are funneled into our scholarship program.

Whitewater Research and Safety Institute

The Whitewater Research Safety Institute is committed to making the finest whitewater helmets on the market. Commissioning a team at Johns Hopkins University, WRSI has been able to produce a comfortable, protective, and stylish helmet. We suggest these incredible helmets to all Alzar School students.

WRSI contributes two new helmets to the Alzar School leaders each year, which then move into our scholarship program.

Nat Geo Maps

National Geographic has a long history of being at the forefront of supporting expeditions around the globe. Nat Geo Maps, a division of National Geographic, provides the Alzar School with a wide assortment of maps and mapping tools. We use these with our students to help them work on their geography skills and to add a layer of depth to our expeditions.

Liquidlogic Kayaks

Based in Flat Rock, NC, just down the road from where Sean and Kristin have worked, Liquidlogic Kayaks is one of the premier kayak manufacturers out there. Recently, they have released a new line of boats that fits a wide range of paddlers, helping get more folks involved in paddling.

Liquidlogic extends VIP pricing to the founders of the Alzar School, and we love paddling their boats!

Camps Mondamin & Green Cove

Each summer, for the past four years, Sean and Kristin Bierle (founders of the Alzar School) have headed to Western North Carolina to lead trips for Camps Mondamin and Green Cove. These two programs (owned by the same family) are fantastic places for kids to get introduced to the outdoors and a variety of adventure activities. We are proud to say that both Sean and Kristin will be heading back to Mondamin and Green Cove to lead more trips from them. To find out more information, check out their websites: www.Mondamin.com and www.GreenCove.com.

Boise State University: Campus Recreation’s Outdoor Program

The Alzar School has maintained a close relationship with Boise State University’s Campus Rec program, stemming from Sean and Kristin’s time at the university as students. They continue to lead programs for Campus Rec, including the “W.I.L.D. Idaho 2008” program. Campus Rec offers a variety of services to the students and faculty of BSU, as well as to the general public. Campus Rec has also been extremely supportive of Kristin Bierle’s kayak slalom racing, allowing her to use their beautiful facility to train.http://snapdragondesign.com/index.asphttp://www.whitewaterhelmet.comhttp://natgeomaps.comhttp://www.liquidlogickayaks.comhttp://www.Mondamin.comhttp://www.GreenCove.comhttp://rec.boisestate.edushapeimage_3_link_0shapeimage_3_link_1shapeimage_3_link_2shapeimage_3_link_3shapeimage_3_link_4shapeimage_3_link_5shapeimage_3_link_6
“The only true solution to our political and social problems lies in cultivating everywhere the spirit of brotherhood, of fellow feeling and understanding between man and man, and the willingness to treat a man as a man.”

The Alzar School and its leaders are fortunate to be sponsored by great companies.  Our leaders and students rely on quality equipment, and we have definitely put the stuff to the test!  We also partner with outstanding companies to offer our programs.  When we work with another program, it is only because they are as committed to excellence as we are.
